Question About Nighthawk Carbon Monoxide Alarm KN-COPP-3
error message with KN-COPP-3...

Product is a Nightwak KN-COPP-3 . The alarm beeps every 40 seconds or so and there is an error message. I tried a new battery but the problem persists. I also pressed the test reset button but that did not solve the problem. Please advise. Thank you.

5 These units are good for 5 years. That's how long the internal CO detector part should work correctly, and not coincidentally, how long the warranty is. Unless your unit is less than 5 years old, it's time to replace it.

2 ALARM BEEPS EVERY 40 SECONDS, THERE IS AN ERROR MESSAGE FLASHING. I PUT IN A NEW BATTERY AND IT STILL DOES NOT STOP.

1 HAD SAME PROBLEM CHECK EXP.DATE ON BATTERY. NEEDS TO BE 3 YRS.
