Bryant plus 80 error 14, Ignition lockout

I tryed to turn on the heater today and it cycled three times and came up with an error 14 on the led. It is getting gas but will not lite. I pulled the ignition lead to test the ignitor for current and got no read. The panel says something about cleaning the floame sensor but that doesnt make alot of sense to me because their is no flame. any sound advise?

  • Flame sensor

    The flame sensor proves the flame is present. If no flame to prove the gas valve shuts off. If it is dirty or sooty or not postioned correctly the burners will shut off

    14 is, i believe a hard lock out. Pull the power and try again. It locks out because the flame is not proved 3 times in a row
