Go into your garage with the door opened. Get a step stool and climb up so you can see and touch the back of the opener motor casing. There is a red button on that casing. Hold down the button you want to set on your small remote opener unit. Press the red button at the same time. Hold down till LED light blinks on unit. Let go. Should work now to put down door. Test it out.
