Member Discussion on Genie Garage Door Opener

Not working.

Hello all,
I'm a trustee at my church, and we have one of these openers installed. Several months ago we had a storm that knocked out the power to our garage. It must have been a surge, cause it burnt out both light bulbs. I'm wondering if there is a reset, or a fuse that I could replace. Our local service contractor has a high service call rate, and was hoping to save the church the $125 charge. Thanks for any help in advance.

    Sorry. After reading I need to clarify that the light bulbs were the ones in the garage, not on the unit itself. Thanks

    You can find the manual at the link below. I did see that there are fuses in the housing. You might check these. This manual is for thePMX500IC/B model.
