two letter alarm code

Our alarm went off last night even though all doors/windows were closed and it said our patio door was open and it wasn't. We shut it off but now it continuously says the alarm code FC at the top left corner of the screen on the panel. Help! What does that mean?

Got the same code

It started when I drilled a hole through drywall in the wall between the house and the garage. I can't imagine why anyone would run wires in that location. Could it have resulted from hitting the wiring for the alarm? Could it be coincidence?
