Damper

Considering buying a Jotul 8 and was told it had a damper that needed it be installed. I can't find any info on a damper and the cost. Can you advise on where I can find information

The Jotul 8 has a spin draft on the door, not sure why you would need a damper as this acts like one. I have this stove for almost 20 years now and never used anything but the spin draft.
