Problem closing garage with remote

I have no problems opening my garage with either the remote or the push button in the garage. I am not able to close it with the remotes. Whenever I try to closeit with the remote it starts down, but immediately go right back up. When closing using the push button inside the garage, on the first attempt it with start down and immediately come back up. It will close with a second push of the push button.
