It Keeps Shutting Off

I have had my HFH111 for 3 years and it heats well and works great. Except the other day it only ran for 5 min and then shut off. I let it cool down and plugged it back in and it ran again for 5 min. and shut off. I tried the next day and the same thing happened. I went out and bought the Holmes HFH111T and it nor any of the other ones provide heat as well as the HFH111. Please tell me how to fix the cut off problem I am having with the HFH111. thank you.
