I bought the same warm mist humidifier last night (11-19-08) because Walmart had sold out of the $13 Vicks vaporizer. I am having the same problem with water steadily running out of the base and SOAKING my floor! As soon as Walmart restocks their shelves with the Vicks vaporizer, I'm packing this piece of junk up and taking it back for an exchange.

I bought a Vicks vaporizer years ago and never had a problem out of it. I would recommend it to anyone. Besides, it's half as cheap and you don't have to worry about a wet floor when you wake up in the morning!
