    Shutting Off
    Regardless if it is humid or not in the basement, the unit shuts off after about a minute or two. Any root cause and can I access an on line manual?

    Is it possible to hook up this dehumidifier to a hose that bypasses the catch basin and empties directly to a drain, thus eliminating the need to empty the basin periodically?
